This building was originally named Jasmine Cottage and is an 18th century house with a red brick frontage. It has had a number of different uses over the years until it became a bank.

The sign says “Westminster Bank Bank Limited”.

The Westminster Bank merged with The National Provincial Bank in 1968 and became the National Westminster Bank. In 1995 it renamed itself NatWest and in 2000 it was acquired by The Royal Bank of Scotland. NatWest branches continued to trade under the NatWest name and Royal Bank of Scotland became known as RBS.
