Number 105 was Mr Houghton's house where he lived close to his shop. At sometime before this photo was taken the ground floor and the front were altered so as to provide premises for County Dry Cleaners.

Looking down the gap between this building and the shops can be seen Kitts builders merchants.

In about 1960 No. 105 was demolished and the yard belonging to Kitts was redeveloped and became Holly Court. The current building has gone through a number of incarnations among which are a travel agent, a card shop and a window blind shop.
